Hey Yeti,

[ QUOTE ]
Did you see the stack sizes? What hands does he 4-bet this river with?

PS. I lose to T9.

[/ QUOTE ]

Your question/statement confuses me. I assumed at first you were looking for the best way to extract money here, rather than considering whether to get away if he 4-bets. You shouldn't be thinking of getting away IMO. Average player definitely will call a raise of 1200 more with many losing hands (flush, 3's full, possibly trip 9s or AA if it's the right guy). I don't lay down my hand here, though that's easier when they've seen some of the [censored] I pull.

Obviously, I would've pushed to his 800 or c/r'd all-in, but that only makes sense if they know you're nuts. I think your best line is probably make it 2000 or more and call everything. Then cry.

I don't post here much, if at all. But I'm drnk so here goes......

After that JJ post I figured that you must have been running bad, after this post, I'm sure of it. If he is not a good player, I think this is an easy push , one that will get called by the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], a likely holding, much more so than T9 or TT if hes average.

do realize that if his hand range is TT, 77, and 33 we most certainly should not raise.

TT is just as likely as 33 and we have 77 beat...plus the off chance he calls with nut flush.
