EV question about KK near end of tournament

I'm one of four left in a single-table tournament. Places 1-3 pay: $25, $15, and $10. I've played this one over and over in my head. I can't imagine playing passively here. Would anyone suggest folding or calling at any point?

The only thing I see that I could have done differently is to go all-in on the flop, which still might not have protected my hand. I try to keep all pre-flop raises consistent to hide the strength of my hand, but maybe that's a bad idea.

Any input on how I might have protected this? or should I just say, oh well, that happens?

You played the hand perfectly...Villian was obviously going to call any pre-flop bet...Just a bad beat from a bad player
