Default Looking to get some of the best chips out there

And would like to know some others experiences with them. So far, I think I like the James Bond Paulson's and the Classic Paulson's the best. Anyone who owns a set care to tell me how you like them? I've ordered a sample set of each but I'd still hear some opinions from those who've played with them a few times. Here's the links to each.

order a sample of each. Also, you can find better prices than that if you look a round. 5stardeals has the Regular Paulsons for $1 each.

Do you really like the design on the classic Paulsons better than the Pharaoh's Club Paulsons? (I am biased as I own a set of the latter, but I bought them because I wanted Paulsons but didn't like the inlay design of their recent releases.)

Thanks guys. I'll check out the Pharoah's too. I've already ordered a sample of the the JB's and Classic's. I'll order a sample of the Pharoah's next.

he probably got them at chiptalk.net

I *think* holdempokerchips.com has them for retail now. (He's a chiptalk.net advertiser and a damn fine retailer to deal with)

I was part of the group buy for them that was organized at chiptalk.net. (Not a great chip conoisseur, just stumbled into the group buy at the right time.) I think my set worked out at 87c each. But they're still being sold for not a whole lot more than that by apache, holdempokerchips, and possibly others, as far as I know.

By the way, there are lots of high quality photos of people's Pharaohs sets on chiptalk.net. I believe there are also photos comparing Pharaohs with other Paulson sets. Of course pictures are no substitute for weighing a sample chip in your hand, but it might help you at this stage in your decision-making.

I got a bunch of samples of clay and ceramics and found that I love the feel of the Paulson clays. I ended up getting a set of the "classics". I know I am in the minority, but I wanted them more than the pharoahs, not because I like the design better (the Pharoahs are beautiful) but because i like the simplicity of the large denomination...although I wish they had more of the style of the chips from the Bellagio.
