Default $11: Bubble AK with shortie at the table

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

UTG (t3890)
Button (t520)
SB (t2185)
Hero (t1405)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to t300</font>, Hero pushes [t1405]

SB had made some weird moves (read: bad), so my folding equity wasn't as big as it would be against decent player. Is the short stack short enough that I should consider alternative methods, such as calling? This was the eight hand of this level.
