I might bet about half my stack on the first hand.I see your reasoning on the second hand. If he has a king here and puts on on a raise with a flush draw, you get all of his money. The second hand I might check the turn and allow him to bluff at the river. If the river comes a non-heart he will make a good sized bet into this pot. What do you think?

#1 NH

#2 with all those shallow stacks, it seems unworthy of being played for set value, how often is it going to hold up unimproved

As played you were fine tho

Actually villian had me covered, and due to the prior hand we had played felt my implied odds were very good on this hand. If anything my call pf in the 1st hand may have been on the marginal side. JMO

Got to agree with this one, it was marginal, still unsure about #2 tho, even tho I misread stack sizes.

Don't be so strong, oftentimes you will get their stack if you get half on turn and rest on river as they won't be able to fold, however if you present it all on the turn you give them an opportunity to get away from their hand. In the first hand you have the 2nd nuts so you really dont have to worry about a redraw. I would bet 8-10 and get the rest in on the river.
For hand two, i would again bet 8-10 and get rest in on the river as he will probably call with a K or fd here but will fold if you go all-in.

Hand one I don't like any part of it. Fold preflop. C/R is bad, with that action I'd think you're getting called, plus by CRing and pushing the turn it says either flush draw got there or your stacking off your set and praying he didn't hit a flush. Seems like you just charge yourself to draw and make people wary of calling when y ou hit given that line.

Hand 2, given the history I like it.

I'll admit calling pf was marginal, but I was getting 4:1 and have no problem getting away from TPWK. I CR alot of my draws especially OOP, nothing says strength like a good CR. Also villians raise could have been a flush draw as well, which would make raising the correct play. I agree my turn bet is horrible, I let him get away from what was likely a set. What line would you take on the turn?

Prob C/R or c/c and lead river. Hope the flop raise looks like you're trying to protect a vulnerable hand, but you got "scared" when a draw hit. You said he's LAG, maybe he'll try to push you off your hand. If not I'd lead river for 1/2 pot.
