You are ok. The Lions are not.

yeah im a little bit worried about that. but that was probably the worst team they area going to field all season. dont forget i stipulated in our bet that if they have the same record at the end of the year there is no tiebreaker, its a push.

The Falcons have a real bad matchup vs. the Bears. The game will be outside where the Falcons struggle anyway. Plus, the Bears speed on defense will really give them trouble. Remember a few years ago when the Bears shut down pretty much this same Falcons offense in Atlanta.

Who knows where the Bucs will be in four weeks. They could be playing well or in a swoon.

I would expect that they lose a game to either the Vikings or Packers on the road for sure and may lose both.

I think the key games for the Bears are these next two weeks. If they win both they should open up at least a 3 game lead in the North. With that kind of lead and only 7 games to go they should be able to hold on until the end of the year.

The Bears are better than every team in the NFC South, and they're hosting the Falcons in late December. This looks like a really easy schedule with the only tough game in Pittsburgh.

This is one of the most ridiculous statements I've seen in a long time.

Have you been watching Atlanta, Carolina, or Tampa recently? Tampa couldn't score on San Francisco, Atlanta tried to lose to the Jets but Vinny spotted them 17, and Carolina's either lost or come damn close to losing all of its games except one.

Very nice. Looks like the Bears might be for real.

How many bets did you end up having on the Bears winning the NFC north?

I had several variants on the forum. Some were anti-Minnesota, one was Bears vs Detroit, I've got to dig them up, but my recollection is three separate $100 bets.

I also in between weeks 2 and 3 got down on the Bears at +450 to win the division, and they closed that week at +270 or something. I hit the peak of the market. Basically, I've gotten super lucky.
