Re: Flopped flush draw...Routine play?
you are getting 5.5-1 on a 4-1 shot, as long as you think your flush will win it is a profitable call. utg has given you no indication that his hand is strong so i have no reason to suspect 2 pair on the flop which means i dont believe he has a boat on the turn. i probably call this every time given the action.

I think it looks good the whole way.

Re: Flopped flush draw...Routine play?
Sometime I will go for a check-raise on the flop instead of betting out. Since the flop has a K and a J, and 5 other players, it's likely to have hit someone.

I would bet the river unless I knew my opponent to be aggressive.

Re: Flopped flush draw...Routine play?
I usually bet the turn here. Checking it through doesnt happen often when you're in the SB. Since I'm going to call anyway I'd rather keep the initative and give myself a bigger chance at picking the pot up, either right now or by going the extra mile on the river.
If you get raised on the turn then just call and check/fold unimproved. I think check/calling the turn is slightly less EV than betting out. I can ofcourse be wrong k |

RESULTS
UTG flips over K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and then berates me for calling the turn with improper odds. Ah, party.
