Default over pair facing big flop raise 100NL6max

villain has 81% VPIP, and 10% PFR, and the only pot ive seen him in was a huge multiway all in preflop where he had aces

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Button ($185.05)
SB ($446.82)
BB ($203.35)
Hero ($149.5)
MP ($314.98)
CO ($89.7)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.5.
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, MP calls $4, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>.

Flop: ($9.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $7</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $30</font>, MP calls $115.50.
the converter messed up here, but i push all in and he calls.

Turn: ($162) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

River: ($162) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Final Pot: $162

my feeling was that his flop raise was too strong for it to be a set, given that very few players are fastplaying sets HU at this level

I can't speak for everyone, but I would fastplay a set if there was a possible flush draw on the board.

I wouldn't bet as much as that guy.

I think its an interesting hand, though I think a good answer to your question requires a read.

I usually play my sets very fast--almost as fast as he played whatever he had.....

so do i, but i'd say we are in the minority at these tables. id say theres &lt;2% of people on the 100NL 6max who fast play sets like this, just because theres a flush draw out there.
