Mike, it goes back to a Jason from a while ago who used to be a major nit and folded a lot preflop.

Reads -- UTG is an older fellow, probably between 48 and 52 years old. He's got light grey hair and some obvious split ends. My read is that he's been using Suave rather than Aveda and it shows.

MP is a younger guy, probably 30 or 31. He's put on a few pounds and isn't carrying it well. It looks like he shaves both upward and downward, and his skin is worn and chapped. He would certainly benefit from a high quality facial wash and moisturizer, as well as better shaving products. He's wearing a pair of tapered jeans and a dress shirt and definitely could use a visit from the fab 5.

The Button is fairly attractive, and I feel comfortable enough in my masculinity to say so. He's wearing some nice Seven jeans -- boot cut, of course -- and an express suitjacket along with a vintage Ramones tee-shirt and a nice pair of Brooks Brothers shoes.

Well done. A good laugh.

For shame.

Seriously. Terrible.

They still have good cordovan loafers, but they're actually Aldens that are re-labeled. I expect LMD to join this thread now.

i dont get it. while the guy looks like a nit in person and is clearly in the rick n school of anal retentivity in terms of dress and demeanor, his actual play is laggy/good.

Now that I've returned from my holiday visit back east I've been casually surfing this afternoon for maybe 30 minutes total and I've already found two personal insults.

When did wearing a shirt that fits become nitty?

Is making sure my ass crack never shows in public anal-retentive?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't intended as an insulting thread. TT (not nitty) is known for commenting on people's attire. Whether the reputation is deserved or not (from my play with Jason, it's definitely not), Jason earned a reputation early in his 2+2 career for being a nit. This was largely because for a while he was an incredibly tight player, something like 13/8/2. So the combination of the two is a well-dressed man (a la ZZ Top, I suppose) who folds a lot.

There's really nothing to kill a joke like explaining it. I think it was funnier to those of us who know Jason pretty well, and to Jason himself (who linked me to the thread).

I feel bad for the button. It's clear that his nut straight got rivered by the runner-runner flush. He should have checked the hand through to make sure flush cards didn't hit before betting.

I think this is what ended Jason's homosexual fantasies about the button.
