Even with decent penetration into a Shoe, it's difficult for an individual to get the kind of Bet Spread necessary to make up for the constant -EV pounding he's taking on his other bets. If he does much of it, especially for amounts worth doing, he's spotted as a counter. You really need a Team with a Big Player to step in and place the big bets when the count gets good.
