My first signup so far has generated about $7xx in rake this month (according to Party's affiliate site), and according to him (I am 100% sure this is valid info), he won $3000 playing Party BJ a few days ago. Apparently, the BJ win has not been subtracted from the total MGR (yet).

It's actually a guy who wins 2+ bb/100 at 5/10-20/40 6max and four tables. So I guess it's either be high MGR or high 'house win revenue.'

An update: my account shows a $300+ share in the 'house win revenue' section, so perhaps Party is calculating the theoretical EV loss rather than actual win/loss?...

Theoretical EV loss is a fine concept if you're an online blackjack whore who plays perfectly.

It's pretty ridiculous if you are discussing casino revenues from BJ and how they are to be split with affiliates. Most players are much more -EV than theory. If I were a fishing-boat affiliate I would expect to be properly paid by Party for the whales I catch.

Anyway, that's not how the Party rep said it would work (see my earlier post for her quote) in the affiliates forum.

I also know for a fact that a tracking code of mine that is showing a positive "house win" has actually been hit for over $2000 of player wins in blackjack.

Here's Party's official explanation:

http://mis.iglobalmedia.com/affiliat...e-updates.html

Short answer: they're going with theoretical loss.

They changed the formula a couple of days ago... and it now applies to both Blackack and Sidebets...
