River decision AK
20+2 15-30 blinds. I have As Kc and $1,370 in chips. It is folded to me in MP2 and I raise it to $100. It is folded to the BB who has $1,060 in chips. He has played pretty loose so far.
Flop is Js 8d Kh He checks, I bet $110, he calls. Turn is Ks He checks, I bet $270, he calls. River is 8c, he bets out $550, whats my action? |

Re: River decision AK
I just call, Villian will probably have KJ (maybe even 88) as often as he has a lone eight or a bluff. unless he is a total idiot in which case pushing is probably fine.

Re: River decision AK
Funny that he bet 550 of his 580.
Sucks if he had KJ or 88, but you gotta make him put his remaining 30 chips in. You aren't getting away from this hand, and you can't let him have the opportunity to come back from 30 chips. |

Re: River decision AK
He had KJ, and I called. I am not just thinking of the results of the hand, but I really cannot think of any hand he would have besides KJ, or maybe 88. With a K on the flop he would have bet out or checkraised. JJ PF, this guy would have re-raised. With KJ he slowplays the flop, along with 88. He was all-in on the river I must have typed in the wrong amount, it was right around $550 though. So unless this guy is capable of bluffing of all his chips here with QT, I think I am very likely beat here. What other hands do you think this guy could possibly have, with how this hand was played? Maybe A8, or AJ. So I guess with all these hands indicate enough possiblity that I am ahead, but I do not like it. I would probably call him in a similar situation, unless we can figure out some valid reasons a fold might be ok.
