Default Is Poker Tracker worth 55$

I am debating whether to buy it or not and 55$ seems expensive to me. Will it help my game or not? I cant decide, any thoughts would be great

i'd probably still be a losing player if i never bought pokertracker... so i'd estimate it's worth something like $100,000 (when combined with the advice on these forums). maybe more.

Yes. It helps find leaks in your game as well as the people you play against.

I have many times said that I would gladly pay 3x as much for this product even if it only did 1/3 as much....and this was BEFORE they were some of the add-on's that we take for granted with p-tracker today (including the auto-import of the party hands and GT+).

I was even saying this before he implemented the notes-exporting.

I'm pretty sure they still do the free-triak version for 1k hands. So go ahead and check that out if you like.

But the general idea that pokertracker has probably helped a few hundred 2+2'ers make thousands and thousands more than they would have otherwise is not far-fetched.

Actually, it has probably helped make millions of dollars more than what otherwise would have been won by the combined efforts of 2+2'ers who have been using it to find their leaks, analyze their game and help analyze their opponents.

$55 is a freaking bargain.
Especially when one considers that you get all the new versions for free. To that end, it works more like you are paying $55 for a life-time subscription to whatever p-tracker is able to come up with next.
