i'd rather not raise that turn because i have to pay it off since we have a gutshot to go with our hand. i'd rather just check/call and check/call the river and pay the same.

We have a showdown worthy hand.
If behind, we likely picked up another 5 outs against a better hand for a total of 9 outs.
If he has overcards, there's a good chance he folds his 6 outer here.
The chance of getting 3bet is slim.

I think it's a perfect opportunity to raise the turn.
