Default Negreanu on Hellmuth

The following assessment of Phil Hellmuth is taken from the player's profiles forum in Daniel Negreanu's site:

Cash Games: 1
Tournaments: 8
Emotional Stability: 1
Heart: 8.5
Short Handed: 9
Ring Game: 5
No Limit Hold'em: 9

Seems to me that his "heart" also causes low "emotional stability". He wants to win so bad. I wonder what he could do to have heart but with high emotional stability too.

1 in cash games seems a bit unfair. maybe danny is not being as scientific as barry g in his rankings. but outside of that danny was pretty fair to phil and had some very nice things to say. he definitely is the best character in the game and very funny even if it not all intentional.

I think a 1 by daniel is kinda dumb...ive seen phil play in the 100/200 on PS, and he isnt a total fish, in fact he has taken quite a bit from that game, or at least from what i saw. i think barry seemed to have rated players much more objectively, giving ones to professionals (ok phil isnt a pro cash game player, but he isnt a total fish either) seems...stupid. and if he thinks PHIL has no emotional control...he has been spending too much time at the bellagio. he might want to check out some of the crappier casinos around the country, and find out whats up.

Take my word for it... there are plenty of fish at the Bellagio too. But I do agree with the rest of your asessment. "1" seems a bit harsh.

No, he is making a distinction between full tables (ring) and short-handed.
