Why did you go all-in after the turn? You are only going to get called if you are behind. You could have found out if he had the 6 for a bet a 3rd of the size you bet.

recipe for the typical 2+2 post:

1. loose preflop caller
2. one whining victim
3. a few bleeding deacons

I went all-in because I thought he had AT and would call with it.

At an 11 there is really no reason not to put all your chips in the middle here (though not necessarily on the turn like this guy did).
Betting half the pot (or whatever) won't tell you if he has a 6. These donks could have anything.

[/ QUOTE ]Which is why I went all-in. 90% of the time in this case at the $11s, villain had AT - or hell, even KT - and they will call that bet 100% of the time.

Put him on a range of hands.

[/ QUOTE ]Correct except I'm not whining, I'm actually laughing because I could post (but don't) the 100+ times I win this hand because villain has AT or even worse. I may be a moron but i realize that bad players help my bankroll even if they frustrate me often times. This one was just so ridiculous I thought I'd share it. With the warning in the subject, it was easy to skip by but I did know that there WOULD be some posts about strategy here and thus far it did stimulate such posts.

There are a few 100% content-free responses from a hypocrite or two above, naturally...

At an 11, I'd put villain on 22-AA, Tx and AK. Even 78/79/89 are not out of the realm of possibility.
There are only three hands out of these that I don't want to see.
