The point is Bud has very little taste. Its a cheap beer that you buy to drink with a bunch of buddies and get [censored] faced. Budweiser doesn't try to act like its some uppity club hopping beer with the trendy urban crowd, all the while hidden behing an absurd price. Bud is what it is, Americana, and good old fashioned drunken debauchery. Who drinks it for the flavor?

Stupid State College Kids (as opposed to Bud Light )

heineken made for Europeans > heineken made for septics.

Actually heineken in the UK is a lower alchohol percentage than the stuff sold in the US.

I spent a month in london and scottland a few years ago and everyone I partied with told me that heineken could be compared to the keystone light of the US.

I would like to hear some UK voice in this thread.

Saltcracka, no matter what you think of the guy, if he's saying Bud is garbage, he's nailed it. Bud is not just bad, it's nasty. The chemical taste is SOOO strong.

Budweiser. Beechwood aged and filtered through genuine Clydesdale kidneys.

heineken made for Europeans > heineken made for septics.

[/ QUOTE ]whats your point? Its a disgusting beer, which for some reason is considered trendy. Consumers are so stupid, because it is [censored] expensive too.

[/ QUOTE ]

My point is heineken made for Europeans > heineken made for septics.

How can this be ambiguous?

To be clearer. Drink Heineken made for European market= Yum.
Drink Heineken made for the septics= piss (but still better than Bud).

This might have been true a few years ago. Not now. Now in the UK we get the same thing they get in mainland Europe, which is an improvement of about 1000000000000000000%.

If someone said to me eat that turd and I said no would that make me a food snob?

The situtation if someone asked me to drink a budwieser is exactly the same.

Just because I like things that actualy taste good dosnt make me a snob.

Dont mention all this urban expense image BS either as in no way does it apply to me. I drink Ales made by local brewers in my local pub which cost less than imported or made under licencse largers.

However when I was in septicland at college I did drink an ocean of bud coz it was cheap and I wanted to get drunk. However I was never under the delusion that it didnt taste like utter and total crap. Now I actualy have something approaching an income you couldnt pay me to drink that urine.

Most people throwing out the "beer snob" line just don't have any experience with real beers.
