Default Biggest lay down you ever made??

Just for fun how about naming some of the biggest post flop laydowns you have made. Weather you found out later it was a good or bad choice. Maybe some of those laydowns where you just werent sure if it was the right move.

Perhaps we can learn something from the stories such as tell tale signs of when to make a laydown.

I layed down trip 2's in a deepstack homegame once. Turned out the other guy just had an overpair .

I try to never put an opponent on a hand I can't beat. If I'm sure I'm beat, I at least put them on a hand that they'd be willing to fold if I came over the top.

Those tens in my thread are probably the second or third time I've ever laid an overpair down.

That's probably bad, right?

I laid down Aces on the flop when the most passive fish at my table 3-bet me with 3 other players still in the hand.

He flopped a set of 6s, but I'm still not sure if it was the right move.

ive folded KK in multi-way post flop action on a very raggitty board after raising a fair whack preflop. turns out i was wrong in retrospect, but i stand by it.

ive folded AK preflop loads of times just to remind myself i can. eg, a week or so back i guy raises to 150 on round 1 in pokerroom.com. three callers, i fold in mid-late position. because i knew i didnt need to be in in the first place. actually i woulda won that too, but by freakish coincidence the guy who raised lives the other side of the student village here in salford, so i guess i figured he knows how to read a book...

he had KQ, i cant wait to play him in real life

one that sticks in my mind as it was part of one of my biggest comebacks was folding 99 in a bubble as lowest (but not significantly lowest) stack because i knew the 2nd lowest stack would go in if folded to. he did, he lost.

cant say ive ever folded aces before, few times when i knew i should on the flop but couldnt, but thats life/poker for ya.

part from the above no huge laydowns. however for the record i dont call overpair laydowns on the flop big laydowns when its as low a pair as tens or 9s (or lower clearly).

This was one of the best laydowns I have made. It was in the WCOOP limit event. Each hand was crucial at this point. Trust me that I am not a weak tight limit player.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Qs, As. SB posts a blind of 200.
2 folds, MP1 calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, SB (poster) calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls.

Flop: 2h, 5d, 2s (3 players)
SB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, SB raises, MP1 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: Qh (3 players)
SB bets, MP1 raises, Hero folds, SB calls.

River: T (2 players)
SB checks, MP1 bets, SB calls.

Final Pot:
Main Pot: > Pot won by MP1 ().

SB shows 9c 9d (two pair, nines and twos).
MP1 shows Ac 2c (three of a kind, twos).
Outcome: MP1 wins .

I posted this hand at the time and wrote:

I think I made a very good laydown here. A smooth call by opponent on the turn and I would have been in trouble. I honestly had the blind on a middle pair like 88 or 99 most likely-of course he was the most likely to hold a 2.

Me very confused here, you call a check raise, then hit your best card besides a spade, which i assume you were calling to hit running spades, and then fold, interesting
