Party $30 about 300/800 left

Blinds 75/150

Background: Villain is big stack at table with about 8K, he likes to play alot of pots with marginal holdings.

Previous orbit- Hero is EP with T5300 in chips and AQs. Hero opens for T450, villain calls, flop 973 rainbow, hero bets T700, villain calls, Turn - 6 completing rainbow, hero checks, villain checks, River - 7 hero checks, villain pushes hero tanks and folds.

Hero in EP with T4000, and AKo
Villain in MP2 with T8000

Hero has AKo and opens for T450
Villain calls

Flop AJ4 rainbow.

Hero bets T700, Villain calls

Turn T leaving 2 diamonds.

Hero checks, villain checks

River 8 not a diamond.

Hero bets T900, Villain pushes, Hero calls T2000 more.


Thoughts??

The turn is too draw heavy to check and try to induce a bluff. Fire off at least a 1/2 pot sized bet.

Definitely need to bet the turn here. Your hand isn't strong enough and the board is too draw heavy to give a free card to villain to make a fluke 2 pair or gutshot straight(I would say he has Ax or Jx 90% of the time here, x being a broadway). The way it played, no way do you fold to the river push.
