AA line check please...
Absolute, 6 max, 0.5 BB, currently 5 handed.
SB had stats of 35/8.8/0.9/25/66.7 after ~55 hands. No other reads besides those numbers, which also indicates that I haven't seen him do anything out of line. SB ($159.51 in chips) Hero ($102.70 in chips) Hero has A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG Pre-flop: Hero raises to 3, 2 folds, SB re-raises to 6, BB folds, Hero calls. Anyone 3 bet here? With his passive AF value, I didn't want to 3 bet and basically tell him I have AA or KK. Figuring him for QQ-AA, AK (remote chance of TT-JJ, I suppose), I wanted to try and make some money off him. Flop (~12.5): 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB bets 6, Hero calls. Pretty harmless flop I figured. I decide it's not so bad to just call and give him another chance to bet in to me, thinking that if I raise here, I let him get away too easily. Turn (~24.5): Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero bets 15, SB calls. Not my favorite card. He checks in to me, and I bet ~2/3 pot to see if that Q gave him a set. River (~54.5): 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB bets 15.5, Hero calls. This confused me a bit. I couldn't decide if it was a blocking bet or a milking bet, so I just call. Anyone raise here? Thanks for any thoughts. |

Re: AA line check please...
Pre-flop call is fine.
Raise pot on the flop. When this happens, your turn all-in bet will be close to a PSB. Then you just have to hope it holds up. |
