I like a 3 bet here. If nobody at the table is any good you'll probably get a free card on the turn, and there's lots of cards that you'll want to see the river with. Even if they have something like a set or made straight they'll probably check the turn trying to get you for a c/r.

seriously. it's def. not a fold, so it's between 3bet or call and 3betting seems reckless. it's at best close.

I would never fold in this spot, the implied odds are just too good especially if the Q or backdoor flush hits. On the flop I think I would 3 bet because you have nice equity and are on the button.

hey bob,

I just call here. Our equity isn't that great - a 7 will chop it for us sometimes, and we of course have to worry about tainted outs from the [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]s. I wouldn't count J outs very highly either...I'd like to see a turn card but i'm not keen on risking paying 4sb to get there, and maybe more...since players in this game loooove to cap their FDs for value.

hey fv,

did you read the beard to be a straight flush draw? An honest question. I think it's close with the weak OESD and flush redraws.
