What was your thinking on the trun raise?

Re: $22\'s - How\'s my line - set of 6\'s
Yeah, here's my thinking...
I raise the turn because villain's bet looks very much like that's the price he's willing to pay to draw to his flush, and I'm certainly not going to let him. Then, when the third player calls the raise...alarm bells start to go off that perhaps he's already made his flush and is looking to keep the initial bettor involved. I figured it was very conceivable that at least one of them had the flush...and I still had enough chips left at that point to be competitive...so that's why I didn't bet the river. Can someone show me why my river check was wrong? (I'm not being cocky, I really wanna know if this is a bad move) |

Re: $22\'s - How\'s my line - set of 6\'s
To clarify, in a $22 there is almost no way someone doesn't jizz all over themselves to bet their flush on the river here. When it's checked to me here, I'd probably shove (unless i thought both would fold, in which case I'd make a smaller but substantial vb).

Okay...what if the villain who cold-called my turn raise pushed into me? Am I calling?
Am I being a donkey and giving these guys too much credit? |

Shove the river. Without question. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I'm sure you're right...still wondering what people do if the river is shoved to them...especially by the suspicious cold-caller? Thoughts? |
