My wager with bugstud...

I just wanted to start a thread commemorating the wager bugstud and I have. For the record, it's on who finishes the season with a better record, Astros or Cubs...straight-up for 100 bucks. If the Astros finish with the better record, I win...if the Cubs finish with the better record, he wins (his heart made this bet for him, I'm afraid).

Anyway, at the moment, my friend...I'm feeling very good about the bottle of Dom I'm going to get for my gf and I at our favorite bar that you're going to pay for. 'Stros are up 6.5 games on the Cubbies -- and that number seems to climb every day.

I wanted this action too but bugstud wouldn't give it to me. It was a case of his mouth working faster than his brain, I'm afraid.

As of right now my prediction of the Brewers finishing with a better record than the Cubs is looking good too [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

blah blah blah blah. Cubs were 3 back when I made the wager. I seem to recall the Astros making up a helluva lot more ground than that last year.

Yep, they sure did. The difference is, the Astros have heart. The Cubs blame ridiculous curses and Steve Bartmann.

Wow, looks like you will be $100 richer. This bet could be mathematically over by September 1st at this rate.
