General question bout all-ins in limit ring games
Party- How come if someone bets their last chips allin and you call with the winning hand they dont have to show theirs? Shouldn't they show first since they made the last bet?

Re: General question bout all-ins in limit ring games
As far as I know, it is treated no differently than any other showdown hand with "muck losing hands" checked. These hands will show up in the Hand History for that hand -- a valuable resource that 2+2'ers consult routinely.
I checked an all-in hand in the hand history just a few minutes ago. Just click "last hand" in the upper right hand corner of the table window. this will bring up a window showing the numbers and hand history of every hand you observed (as a player or 'from the rail') since you opened the client. Be aware that they are not always in chronological order, especially if you played more than one "session" at a table or also observed it when not seated at the table. |

[/ QUOTE ] Good question. My *guess*: Bets and raises less than 1/2 the bet size are considered "action" rather than bets. They don't reopen the betting for those who have already acted and they don't count as a bet for showdown purposes. Anyone know for sure? |
