Default Pokerroom freeroll and bonus question

If I cash points to play in one of their freerolls, will those points get deducted from the points counting towards my bonus?

Actually I think they do. - at least they used to.

I asked a similar question to the PokerRoom support crew when they used to offer rake back on your points. They said if I spent my points for rakeback, I'd have to re-earn them before they released the bonus.

Times may change...just shoot them an email.

since they don't let you trade 100 points for $1 cash anymore, accumulated player points towards the bonus aren't really an issue anymore. in fact, if you DON'T use your weekly player point earnings towards the freerolls, they are essentially worthless.

I deposited $400 to get a $60 reload bonus (only cause I couldn't stand to play a full 1000+ hands at $2/4 limits all at once, before heading over to empire), earned 160 points last night, and redeemed a ticket to the wednesday limit freeroll for 150 points.

it says I need 260 points to earn the $60 bonus (420 minus 160). after I redeemed the freeroll ticket, the bonus earnings counter did not change.
