Here’s my thinking…

On the Flop, cinbad2 (is first to act) bets 300 so I put him on top pair, and here I decided to raise him to 750 to see where both cinbad2 and lordyankee stand. I also knew if either lordyankee pushed over the top of both of us that he had an over pair, but he folds. Now on the turn I was going to push, if cinbad2 checks and try to represent a set, but instead he bets 300 leaving him only with 600 chips. Here, I couldn’t push over top of him because he would obviously call with his top pair. So, I only call here and hope to hit my set or open-ended straight draw, if not fold on the river leaving me with 1,300 chips and move onto the next hand.

Any thoughts on how to play this differently…

Welcome to the forum. Please note #4 in the rules. It's a real challenge to read through a bunch of raw hand histories. If you can't get the converter to work then just give us the important details.

I liked your raise on the flop (might even do a min-raise here, because I feel it is just as effective and saves chips in the long-run), but I thought you were doing this for a free card on the turn. I don't like the idea of pushing on the turn if checked to. You should check behind and hope to hit your straight or set cheaply.
