Default Marking Cards (Cheating)

Does anyone know about the latest cheats that are out there? Such as marking the cards with a special dye, in which you can view with special filters/ lenses in which you can place in your glasses/sunglassesm that no-one else can see? I live in Vegas, there are a lot of rumers about this happening at the casinos. Please share any experiences you have on this subject.

What Casinos have you heard this about? I haven't heard a whisper of it at the 15/30 games at Bellagio.

Hey Jason, I talked to you once at PS about meeting up after the NWP v FCP tourney. I emailed you but maybe spelled it wrong. If you are still interested reply back and ill try to get ahold of you again.

Oh BTW, never heard of marked cards going around vegas. If so, now would be worst than ever though considering they won't let people requests new set ups any more with the machines.

seems like this plot could be easily thwarted by the casinos using the same lenses on their cameras.

This sounds like daubing, but you would be able to see that. So I guess they are talking about juice and just mixing in the glasses.

This has been around for a long time. I don't know about poker players using it, but it is the reason casinos use a colored shoe in black jack. That way any markings will show when the card is being delt. If I recall the markings only show up under a rose or blue tint. Also, as was stated with todays cameras I don't see why they couldn't use filters to spot it.

This is old "technology" so to speak. Anyone doing this will almost certainly be caught. Besides this wouldn't work well in poker because since the dye bleeds to a degree it would be too hard to make distinguishing marks on a card in a surreptitious manner with tons of cameras watching you. In blackjack it worked because a ten is a jack is a queen is a king, so those could be marked. In poker those cards have completely different meaning.
