Default recommend a good p2p client for me

Hey ive always been a big fan of gnutella, mainly because i like the open source, no spyware, and general concept of gnutella. I access it through gnucleus. However, since i got my new computer and have been redowloadig, it seems like downloads are taking an inordinant amount of time, not downloading completely, or simply unavailable. Could anyone recommend another good client to access free stuff with? thanks

peace

I've been told that the best way to do things is through IRC. However, I'm a noob and I haven't figured out to use it yet

There are lots of IRC'ers on this board; someone will help you out.

If you aren't using torrents yet, I suggest checking them out.

If you still want to use a strict P2P type of client, go with Kazaa LITE. Kazaa stopped the makers of Kazaa LITE from distributing their version of Kazaa on the internet, but it's still out there. No spyware, and your user rating is maxed out.

That being said, I don't really use it anymore. Torrents are the way to go these days, IMHO.

I mostly use www.suprnova.org. There are a lot of tracker sites out there, though. Demonoid.com isn't bad, for instance.

I suggest someone new to torrents should stick with suprnova.org.

go to this site and download azerus, it is a bit torrent agent, it will download the torrent for you.

To access some free torrents to download go to www.suprnova.org and search the site. Click what you want and it should start up azerus and start downloading the torrent for you.

Suprnova.org has a crapload of albums, movies, tv shows, pc and some video games, software, you name it, no porn though.

You definitely want to get into bittorents, but also check out Direct Connect hubs. DC++ is the leading client for DC Hubs.
