Default Is 6 Max a better game than full on party skins?

I'm still a newb to 6 max, and while I'm doing well, I'm wondering how much better 6 max is than a full game. They are much different varieties. The table variety and cast of characters seems the same as it does in full. Is it possible that the only thing that makes the game better is that people don't know how to play shorthanded well, so people are making more mistakes, thus making the game more profitable? Or is it really more appealing to the bad players to play 6 max?

It's better in the sense that you get to play more hands, so if your decisions are better, on average, than your opponents', you have a higher earn. Short-handed play also seems to increase the size of your swings.

Here's some links.
