If you don't feel like mailing it in, any Barnes & Noble that carries it will replace it for you. They can just return it to the vendor for a credit.

This is weird and I am not making it up:

You have two lots of p33-48, I have the same pages missing from a different book. What are the chances of that? Clearly online book selling is rigged!!

I'm in the UK and they told me not to even bother sending the original copy back. A replacement is on its way....

nope.. amazon.com is affiliated with Borders, which competes w/B&N.

and borders wont switch out the book because it wasnt bought from borders.

oh well, guess i'll go thru the hassle of mailing it back

You told them you didn't buy it from Borders? Why? I was thinking something like:

"I got this book as a gift and the person who gave it to me said she got it here."

I got a copy of Caros book of tells about a year ago from amazon that had the first half of the book twice and didnt have the second half at all. I took it to B&N and told them that I got it as a gift and showed them how it was screwed up. They gave me a new one and told me to have a nice day.

Given that they return damaged books to the publisher and get credit for them. One happy customer is worth far far more than the hassle of sending a flawed book to the publisher even if they didn't purchase it origionally.
