WSOP 2004
Hello All,
I am heading out to Vegas April 19th for eight nights. The early events will be going on for the WSOP while I'm there. My question is how much is a Sat. for a 1500 event and 2000 event??? I am planning on playing a few of the second chance Tournies in the evening. Also how many people do they have in those 2nd chance tournies? Thanks Gene |

Re: WSOP 2004
A single table satellite typically costs a bit more than 1/10th of the price of the target tourney. So, if you're looking to win a seat in a $1500 event, the satellite will cost a bit more than $150. They often award $1500 in lammers, plus a little cash (so you will have some cash with which to tip the dealer). It will likely be about $165-170.
I have no idea how many people entered the second chance events last year, but it will be a LOT more this year, unless they limit it. Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan) |

Re: WSOP 2004
Hey Gene,
I, too, will be heading out to play in the early couple of events at WSOP. I'm going to buy-in to the $1500 limit and the $2000 NL tourneys, and play some sats. to the main event. GL!!! all_aces |

I forgot...
... to mention that the final day of the WPT Championship Event happens on April 23rd at the Bellagio.
Might be worth a look! Regards, all_aces |
