Ask yourself <font color="red"> "why?" </font>: that is, what action will result from your decision. Are you looking for a fold, or do you want a call. How likely is your desired outcome of happening (based on opponents stats i.e. willingness to fold), and does your winning the hand require your desired action to occur (can you win unimproved, or have outs if behind and called)

I remind myself before every session to take implied odds and don't give them. Helps with capitalizing on the mistakes of your opponents and folding one pair hands before you end up in a big pot

just don't fall victim to playing too many hands against them like playing too many draws with very bad immediate odds because you feel that you can stack them if you hit.

Here's another good one:
Be Aware of the deceptiveness of your hand: is it very obvious when you make it? or are you playing very obviously in general. Has an opponent reraised you against a clear sign of strength?
