I don't know what to say here....you have top pair, top kicker.....but a bet of 425 from someone in front of you.....I think that i would fold top pair, top kicker

I think SB is probably holding TT or JJ. I would have played either one pretty much like he did. And I have been payed well many times by A8 and A9 in this situation. I would bet the pot first-in with TPTK, but I would be hard-pressed to call that size bet with it (considering that "top Pair" is a pair of nines, and any number of turn/river cards can beat me)

Looks to me like you ran into 10-10; JJ; 33 or 44. I'm not crazy about your 1 unit raise OTF. When he called your raise OTF and lead the turn I would have to say he didn't want to give you the opportunity to check behind. This to me reaks a set here. Results???

Impressive!

Two of you guys figured him exactly, with his TT.

I know there'll be some lessons to learn as I investigate multi-table tourneys and this was my first one.

It has been bothering me all day. I knew I played a bad hand as soon as he bet the turn, but ... instead of getting away from it... I let it destroy me.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Funny KC,

When I was writing my reply, I first put the guy on 3-3 or 4-4. Then, when I was reviewing my post, I realized "This guy doesn't have a set." . Why?

IMO, if this guy had a set, he would have pushed after being raised on his flop bet.
