Before I even looked at the results... why are you so sure he has AA here? What were his stats? Anyone with a PFR of 4+, I'm probably reraising to 105 against.

Re: Why its important to know when to fold KK preflop....200 NL lowcontent
Although I didnt have that many hands on him, he had a low pfr % and had been playing conservatively up till now. I didnt have much stats on the guy that called with 5s.

[ QUOTE ]
you must hate money [/ QUOTE ] Man I am taking a lot of shyit for this one.....A conservative winning player that does not raise much raises to $40 after a raise and a caller....I figure either QQ or AA with AA being more likely...I didnt know the 5s were coming along for the ride either....you really think that bad??? PS this is one of the about 2-3 times I have folded KK pf. |

I'd only consider not pushing with KK preflop if I got severely limp-raised.

Re: Why its important to know when to fold KK preflop....200 NL lowcon
You've got a 4x preflop raiser and 2 callers...and he makes a big reraise. AA, QQ, JJ, and AKs would be played like this at $200. Since you're the pf raiser, I push this without hesistation, there's enough in the pot for a crying call.
Not an awful laydown on your part, but saying this is just AA is way off at $200. |
