Advice for a novice player who\'s about to play in a big one:
Hey everyone. Earlier in the week, I put up 1000FPP on poker stars satellite tourney and top 9 of that tourney gets a seat into round two (the final qualifying round) to the WPT Bahamas. So obviously I will be playing in this round 2 otherwise I would not be posting this. The top 4 spots of this tourney (there will be roughly 240 players or so) wins a seat to the WPT Tournament in the Bahamas and a trip there. My tournament starts at 2pm PST tomorrow and I'm just wondering if anyone could give me some pointers to maximize my chances of placing in the top 4. Thanks for your help and I look foward to any advice given.

Re: Advice for a novice player who\'s about to play in a big one:
Of course you need to play good cards, be patience, dont desperate, you have plenty of time (the blinds increases every 30mins). Dont make crazy all in bets. Always think what is the optimal amount to bet, whether you want to bluff or maximize your earnings when floping something good. When near the final, dont be scared. You have to fight!!
Good luck to you, I just won my trip to Bahamas this Saturday, hope to see you over there. David C. |

Re: Advice for a novice player who\'s about to play in a big one:
Unregister and take the 10,000 FPPs. Then clean up playing the 500 FPP satellites to the $215.
