Default Tough decision with top pair

This isn't a VERY hard decision, mainly because there is not a lot of money in the pot. Villian is an OK player. He has been here for about 30 min. Nothing really notable, He hasn't bluffed so much that I have noticed it, But he hasnt been very tight either. My image should be TAG here.

PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (3 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Villian (SB)($37.40)
BB ($5.60)
Hero (Button) ($22.55)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], .
IamLeach calls $0.25, Villian raises to $0.9</font>, 1 fold</font>, IamLeach calls $0.65.

Flop: ($1.80) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)</font>
Villian bets $2</font> Hero???

I couldn't decide what he has here. Just completly threw me. Curious what the general concensus is here.

You have Ks in your hand and also Ks on the flop something is wrong.

I like to call here. No need to bloat the pot with one pair. Then my turn action will vary. Could raise, call, or fold, all depending on the opponent, but very rarely will I be folding top pair with a decent kicker heads up when the hand started three-handed.

I don't mind playing K-10o from the button, but once one of the blinds raises, I normally let go of it. And after all, you are saying that this guy seems to be decent, so I have to respect a raise from a blind here. This is exactly the problem calling here is that you don't know where you're at. I don't mind just folding here. But I also don't hate the call either. I definitely would not raise, because he could easily just keep calling with the best hand and then you've throw away a lot of money. If you call the flop, I'd be prepared to fold to any decent bet on the turn. Don't dump a lot of money on K-10o. All you have is top pair with a medium kicker.

Whoa, this is 3-handed. Personally, I think this is an easy, easy raise preflop. But preflop comments are always so boring...

Anyways, definitely never fold this hand preflop 3-handed.

Playing this hand from the button three handed I think would be standard. Even against the raise.

I think this is an easy, easy raise preflop.

My first intuiton WAS to raise this preflop, but then I figured "Eh, he's OOP, lets see what he does."

oops. didn't realize it was three handed. Yeah, raise preflop.

Since it's three handed, I'd probably raise the flop. But I still wouldn't get too carried away with it. Raise the flop and fold to any reraise. That board could have connected with Villain in a lot of ways.

Sorry for the oversight.

I never really like raising the flop here because a)he is unlikely to have a flush draw heads up b)we are in position and he is likely to bet again on the turn even if he would have folded to a raise on the flop and c)if we call the flop, raise the turn, and take a free showdown then we manage the pot a lot better than if we raise the flop and then get turn action, too.
