Bellagio has always been my favorite. Plenty of tourists that donate, and a never ending game 24/7.

Mandalay is my second favorite. Same tourists, just not as many games, a few more rocks, and way too many rules.

Played Wynn once when they first opened. Good action, nice floor. Seemed as though they would be an up and commer fo rthe future. Someone else will give better advise on them.

MGM is awesome if you like techno and loud music. Great action late at night in the N/L game, GREAT floor.

Good luck.

Quick question, what do you mean too many rules? Just asking; I have never been to Vegas. Only experience is online and Indian casinos.

Mandalay bay rules = No listning to music or reading while playing. Can not check with chips in your hand, any chips past the "line" on the tables is considered a bet if your hand is live. They only spread a 2-4 NL with a min/max 200.
and 4-8 holdem.

This is all correct except they didn't have a line last time I was there (month ago). They are like most rooms that don't have a line though. The edge of the cards towards the dealer is the committment. If you have even one more chip in your hands when you go over the cards, even if you don't set them on the table, you are required to raise. Say I'm playing NL and I do like most people do, take out chips and cut them out and whatever is there is a bet. Nope, everything is automatically a bet even if you want to just cut out 4 nickles out of a stack of 10. Such bs rules if you ask me.

They also take a drop without a flop. Only house in town that does this!

Don't forget that Mandalay doesn't allow the blinds to chop. And my favorite interpretation of the chips past cards is a rule, was the player who had a chip on top of his cards to protect them. Player decides to look at his cards again and pushes the chip off the card so that he can look at them and it is called a bet because he pushed the chip forward past his cards.

They are very picky about crossing your cards w/ your chips. If you do, no matter the amount in your hand or if your just shuffling them, it's a bet. So be careful and deliberate.

was at the wynn a month ago, and saw 50K+ on a 2/5 table. I am guessing you wouldnt find that easy money.

was the guy long haired and a beard, wearing a zoot suit?

That sounds like the King of Fremont St. - buys in for 50K, plays ultra tight waiting for AA or KK and then will push, take your stack, and leave.

If it was him, he's the exception, not the rule - he only plays in the NL games with no cap

Wynn is good action as is the bellagio. MGM was waaaaay too loud and there wasn't enough action to make me want toput up w/ the music..
