Default Pacific has Tournaments

Just logged into Pacific and noticed the tourneys. Both sngs and MTTs, all LHE. Haven't played one yet, will be curious to hear a review.

They've bothered to introduce tournaments and a new lobby look but haven't gone so far as to introduce NL or PL or the ability to play multiple tables. I'll probably give them a miss until then.

I played a couple of their freerolls.

The $800 Midnight featured play money LAGGishness at the start.

It started with 1500 chips with blinds increasing every 15 min.

Strangely after I was moved after about 25 hands the table became were tight.

I ended up finishing 7th an made either$32 or $40.

Or the other hand I entered the $200 at midday and did not win a single hand.

It had a different structure .

800 chips to start with the same 15min blind increase.

Probably just testing to see which structure leads to the greatest revenue.

It will probably be the 800 chips.

Thanks for the post. They have at least two freeroll multi-table tourneys everyday. It looks like one in the morning and one in the late afternoon.

Only Limit HE. 800 chips. Blinds move every 15 minutes. Blinds move very slowly (or so it seemed). 7/15 to 10/20 to 15/30, etc.

I've played two. First one had 490 entries...top 40 made money although 21-40 was a buck or so.

Second one had 309...only top 3 paid (100-60-40). I actually ended up winning it. Because so few places paid out, I started really loose early in an attempt to gain chips. And with small blinds it wasn't expensive either. Then, I tightened up and played smart late.

Thanks for the tip. I now have an extra $100, although I did kill 4 hours for it.
