----------------------------------------

I just started this table. I can't tell you why I went all in on the turn, It seemed like the right thing to do. I was elated to the rainbow flop as their are usually flush chasers. I realize now there this is a possible straight on the table after the turn - something I failed to do while playing. I think I did this because the big raises preflop.

What do you think. Especially preflop - I always seem to just lag in with a small to medium pocket pair. I think the results are interesting. Ill post those in a bit.

EDIT- the converter got the blinds wrong, its 0.1-0.25, 25$ NL tables at paradice.

I don't see anything wrong with it at all. If he had the straight, so be it...you still have a 10 outs to fill up or better, and it's likely that one of your opponents just has top pair or two pair.

i'd be a bit concerned with top set or higher set than yours, although A10 is certainly likely. mayve we have 2 sets and A10 amongst the 3 players.

In genereal you like the line? I was pretty sure that they both had TPTK or A 10. I knew someone had to have something better when they both called my all in.

Yeah, don't be results oriented. If someone's calling that turn raise with the idiot end of the straight draw, you're going to make it back anyway. Set over set happens.

Default RESULTS

River: ($76.20) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)

The first called had AK. The second caller had 87s. He would have won had I not hit my 4 of a kind.

Questions: Say this is still on the turn. Had I checked and someone else pushed all in, do I call? Had I cheched and both gone all in, do I call?

edit- he had 87s, not 89s. He hit the straight on the turn. Guess five 9 cards doesnt make too much sense

Sweet, five 9's in play. I assume you mean 7-8 suited. He drew to the idiot end of the straight and hit.

Assume that they had both gone all in before you on the river. It's costing you ~$15 to win $61ish if my math is anywhere near right. So the pot is laying you 4-to-1. With their given hands, it would still be right around neutral EV to call. You did nothing wrong.
