Default Becoming a Card Player ::: Learning New Games

I'd like to see the quality of my game increase along with my analytical thinking. Is learning a variety of games the best way of doing so?

My other reason for doing so is simple oppurtunity cost; why wait for a game in a casino if you can beat all of them?
