Default Oversleeping classes

Most days my first class is at 10, but unfortunately it's a 7-person Spanish class and attendance is very strictly checked. I go to bed at varying times, last semester I would nearly always go to sleep at 4, but my first class was an econ lecture so it wasn't nearly as crucial for me to be up. Lately I've been trying to go to bed by 2-2:30, but it really cuts down on time.

I'm one of those types that sets the alarm for 9, turns it off, and figures they can catch a quick half-hour more before class, but is so out of it they don't snooze or reset or anything. Any suggestions? Anyone else have/has had this problem?

the decision is yours and you make it at 9am when you wake up initially. by not resetting the alarm, you know you are gonna skip the class. you're choosing to skip. if you want to go, choose not to skip.

Put the alarm clock by your shower, if it's near your bed.

Keep the alarm clock away from the bed!

You could always just sleep in class. That's what I do.

You can get the best sleep in class if your professor is boring.

sleeping in class can work, but he did say it was a 7 person class. so the teacher is gonna pick up on it just like they would if u cut.

change ur patterns of sleep so u dont wake up during a REM cycle...then u wont be tired!! Other than that buy 2 or more alarm clocks!! I have one with 2 seperate alarms and a HUGE snooze button ontop...so i set one for the time i wanna get up and one for the time i HAVE to get up...say like 900 and then 940

I have a 9:10 class everyday that I have to go to which blows since my next class doesnt start until 12:40. After my first class though I go to the IM building and lift, this gives so much energy to get through the rest of the day that its unbelievable.
