Default 6 max vs half full 10 max?

I was wondering if it would be to my benefit to play in a half full 10 max table as opposed to a regular 6 max table because of the people who youd normally see sitting there.

In the low stakes, I'm sure it means nothing because I would consider almost everyone at the 25$ NL tables I play to be extremely poor players and moving around would cost me too much time when the 6 max very likely has just as bad players. But As I move up, is it +EV ( ) for me to keep finding half full 10 maxes and sit in until the game goes over 7?

I'd assume so since by the time I get to 1-2 NL I'd be more of a 6 max specialist and I can only assume my competition isn't as good at shorthanded as I am since he's sitting at a regular sized table

just to restate, this is no limit and not limit.
