My bankroll is 25k. I am only putting a grand to begin with so I dont go crazy online and loose it. So I got 25k behind me, but only one grand online.

It doesn't really matter how much you have behind you since you are only willing to risk $1000 (so you don't "go crazy").

If you are willing to lose 25k, but maybe want to put some sort of delay involved in losing it all (trying to jump to a NL 2000 game when you know you shouldn't), this is fine. As long as you realize there's a pretty decent chance you'll lose the 1k, and you are fine with it, go for it.
