Default QQ out of position against a reraise

villain just sat down. This felt a bit weak. Thoughts?

you shouldn't be calling the flop if you're not going to call that turn, because its obvious exactly how the hand is going to play out.

You probably each have a pair, but which one is bigger? I'm either leading the flop or check-raising it, but I think calling it is wrong. If you're not willing to do either of those things, then you should fold preflop.

against an unknown i think you got to lay this down.

screams overpair like KK or AA.

MIGHT be TT/JJ, but do you want to double him up if youre wrong?

WHy not? Do we think villain is going to shove AK or TT on the turn?

I agree. I think villain's range is to wide to just fold the turn. You can see where this is heading when you call the flop.

I think I call here. I don't like pushing the flop because what better hand folds? I'd rather give JJ a chance to throw some more money in the pot.

I'm not giving credit for AA or KK to an unknown that just sat down. If he got lucky to start with that then he's getting my money. I call that turn.

yes I think villain will shove AK and TT here in alot of cases. In any case, once you call on the flop, you should be prepared to call any brick turn.

If I called the flop, Im calling the turn.

You didnt call the flop to catch a queen, you called it to let him push all in with AK.

Id have an easier time folding If I lead out a pot sized bet on this flop and was raised.

I think that a bet/fold is the right move on the flop. I think that when UTG+2 raises an UTG+1 open-raise, it usually means a very big hand, and without a read, I'll assume that he's not so aggro as to play JJ or AK this way.

Ah, I play all of that hand differently. Preflop, I would have re-raised that to $12. I want him to define his hand now. On the flop, given that I have only $28 behind, I would push every flop. Given the sitation you are in, I would 2/3 bet the flop, and then re-evaluate if raised. If just called, I would continue to lead.
