You will be able to get most anything within reason while playing for regular stakes. Johnny Walker Blue wont be available

Funny bc I was @ the Mandalay Bay last summer and a guy sitting at my 2-4 NLH game kept ordering Johnnie Walker blacks and soda....he got it. He tipped nicely though like 2 bucks a drink and 5 at the end of the night while he was leaving.

If you want top shelf, hand the waitress $5 when she takes your order, then tip her $2/drink (most people will be tipping $1). You'll get doubles of whatever you want all night. Tip her another $5 at the end of the night if you're going to be a regular. She'll remember you.

I love the people who think just because I have a beer in front of me that I am a total LAG! Some of us that drink daily can put down a whole case and still be in decent shape to play some limit poker. Thanks for all the help though.

I think the general rule should be:

Don't order a drink that costs more than the Big Bet

"Hello gents, jolly good to see you, I've just returned from a delightful morning of fox hunting. Dealer please do me the favor of a rack of white and ring the chamermaid for a glass of 25 year old Glenmorangie, if you will"
