Default Need help buying a snowboard

Leaving for Vermont next Tuesday and ideally I'd like to pick out my board online so I need to do it ASAP (my two local shops completely suck) My budget is $250 for a board and I wear size 13 boots so Ill need a wide. Its been 2 years since my last purchase (got an enduro and it delaminated after 2 years of scant use). Anyone have any suggestions? Also does anyone have any opinions on the the brands M3 or LTD?

My board is a Sims Fader... look on ebay, it's the board style with the one with pornstars on it. I like it, very good for playing around in the park or on the hills. Other good brands are Ride and Burton, but these are also the more expensive brands. Above all, I would get some Flo bindings, I got some last year and they are the best investment you can make, IMO. You can get a very nice board on ebay for $250, brand new, just look around.

Riddick,

HERE are the Top 10 snowboards from last year; try checking them out and looking them up on eBay. I would say that it is impossible to get a quality new board for $250, but luckily there are plenty of people that use a board for one season and then put it up for sale.

Also, I've heard M3 boards are very durable.

donek makes awesome boards ... a lot of racers use them, and the freeride boards are pretty cheap. unfortunately, you'll prolly have to order from them rather than go to a store, but its definitely worth it.
