What do yall think about MLB making them keep the roof open?

[/ QUOTE ]

More ammo for the conspiracy theorists. Stro's want it closed and have played 85% (in their words) of their games closed this year. They feel it gives them a greater advantage (loudness, temperature control, whatever). MLB is forcing them to open it for the games. WTF? Has MLB given the reasons that it needs to be opened? And why haven't they been forced to open it during earlier rounds of the playoffs, just all of the sudden now the must? I would be pissed if I were a die hard Houston fan.

They have done this before though, forced the Diamondbacks to open their roof a few years ago.

Yeah I think it is garbage. I think they said they wanted it open to get blimp shots. If I was Drayton McClane I would close it this afternoon and then tell them it seems to be stuck. What would they do? Not have the game. As far as I am concerned it is our stadium we should be able to do what the hell we want.
