Gmail error

Anyone else getting these errors constantly? When I try to log in or compose mail, it'll stall for a few seconds then say the system wasn't able to perform the operation...try again in a few seconds.
I just registered for gmail on Thurs and this is the 3rd straight day this has been happening.
What good is 1GB of space if I can't even log in to use it? [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
