Default Fossilman 4th in chips

Fossilman is 4th in chips after day 1 of the WSOP. WTG Greg, keep it up!

This is the same Fossilman who, after I knocked him out of one of the $650 satellites at Stars with my QQ hitting a four flush versus his AK (all-in preflop), stayed at the table to berate me and my terrible play for about 15 minutes. I used to think Greg was a nice guy and extremely helpful, now I just think he is a prick.

hmmmmm.......I've know Greg for a long time. That doesn't seem like something he would do.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you're not telling the truth, but I sure would like to be able to confirm that it was Greg, and not another player with a similar ID.

If it WAS him, I'm totally puzzled by it.

I agree with Myrtle.

He may have "debated" the logic of your play, but not "berrated"...it's just not in Greg's character.

Go Greg, east coast represent, FW represent.

Welcome to the forum d'amphoux. I hadn't seen you post before but did get to play with you on stars once and watch a bit of the bigger tournament. I hope you stick around here.

I'd like to echo what Myrtle and d'Amphoux said.

It seems totally out of character. FossilMan has given a lot of time and effort on this board to helping others understand optimal tournament strategy and I've never seen him get critical in a nasty or non-constructive way.

Back to the original point of this thread, GO GREG!!!!

Way to go Greg!

I am certainly rooting hard for you.

Anyone know how any of the other 2+2ers are doing?

Seems unlikely considering Greg's usual demeanor, but I don't think anyone is above having a bad day at some point now and again.

In any case, I am rooting for him even if he did fly off the handle in a chat box once or twice. He's more than made up for that with his expert advice given to all of us over the past year.
