Default D’Agostino laydown

I know this is old but John had A J suited and raised, Daniel Negranuea re-raised with A Q. John thought about it for a while then finnaly folded the AJ.

I know the laydown isnt super hard, but what really impressed me about it is that he had just taken a bad beat a few hands earlier. I was suprised he didnt go all in right away on tilt.

Well, that's why he's a professional, the average player might have gone on tilt and pushed. I know I would.

It was mostly impressive due to how shortstacked he was.

I don't know the details, but what could he hopeto be ahead of? Obviously, DN would factor shortstackedness into a Preflop reraise.

Not having seen this or knowing his stack size, I question what a short stack is in this context? If he has 20x the big blind, I don't consider him a short stack. It doesn't matter what he is in relation to the other players for the short stack decisions. If he only had 10X the BB, then maybe he should be pushing and taking chances.

I don't know stack sizes so don't know if this is possible but would be more impressed if he read DN for AQ, 3 bet all in and got DN to lay down the best hand.

Not possible. Dags was too short. Negreanu's reraise may have set him all in to begin with now that I think about it.

DN's reraise would have left Dags with only a few thousand. DN was not folding to a push from Dags
